My name is Jen MacDonald and I am a certified Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Barre Fitness Instructor, and MUTU Pro™. I am also the mom of two energetic boys. When I was pregnant with my 1st, I started to question the common phrase of “do your kegels.” I went to a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist and found out that I was doing it all wrong. With a professional dance background (Soloist with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet for 13 years), and practicing yoga, I was mostly engaging, and not letting go, or releasing. I realized that, just like in life, balance is key.
After my 2nd was born via c-section, I was given the “go ahead” to get back into fitness, and I was very disappointed. I was going to classes and feeling worse after a workout. I could get through the movement, but felt disconnected. I wasn’t seeing the results I was used to, or feeling any stronger. I decided to try the MUTU® System and it changed my entire approach to postpartum exercise. I went back to the foundation of rebuilding and reconnecting with my pelvic floor and core and felt SO much better. I felt supported, strong, and finally able to make my Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) functional from the exercises offered in the 12 week online program.
Mamas are AMAZING! It's so easy to put others first, but also important to realize that self care isn’t selfish. My goal is to empower women so that you can be confident, strong, and ready for every adventure you embark on! My holistic approach to fitness and health will have you feeling great in your new body.

POSTPARTUM CORE RESTORE
Restore and reconnect with your core and pelvic floor. This is my inspiration for the classes I offer. Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation) and leaking (when you sneeze, run, exercise, or laugh) are common postpartum, but not something you have to live with forever! As a MUTU certified Pro™ I offer therapeutic exercises that help you meet your goals and feel confident again, in a program tailored just for you. Take time to reclaim your body and get you back on track with being YOU!
Once postpartum, always postpartum, it's never too late to start!

12 Week Mama Core Restore
During postpartum your body is unique and has different needs than other times during your life. Certified MuTu Pro, Jen MacDonald, will guide you through a 6 week program to help you restore and reconnect with your pelvic floor and core. Diastasis Recti (abdominal separation), prolapse, and leaking (when you sneeze, run, exercise, or laugh) are common postpartum, but not something you have to live with forever!
